Akshaya Patra had the pleasure to host Mr Sachin Bansal, Co-founder and Chairman of e-commerce firm Flipkart, along with some employees of the company on December 24, 2016. Mr Bansal and his team visited the Foundation’s Vasanthapura kitchen in Bengaluru, along with its beneficiary school – Government Higher Primary School, Konunkunte. They understood the workings of the Akshaya Patra, the process of mass cooking and its impact on beneficiaries. Of his experience, Mr Bansal said, “Really touched by the service you guys are doing for the country. Let’s make India healthy, happy and prosperous.”
