A German television channel PR07 filmed a documentary at the Hubballi kitchen on 14 and 15 September 2015. Led by producers Sarah Klompken and Dorothea Riecker, the documentary featured videos of the kitchen and its operations.

The film also included a visit to an Akshaya Patra beneficiary school at the Kotabagi village in Dharwad. Here the team interacted with the teachers and beneficiaries and filmed videos of them. They also visited a beneficiary’s house, interacted with her parents and captured footage of the daily activities of the beneficiary and her family.
