On October 11, 2017, Cisco announced an agreement with The Akshaya Patra Foundation as part of its global efforts to support non-profit organisations around the world to help meet critical human needs. It will accelerate digitalisation of our kitchens across 7 locations in India.

As part of this agreement, Cisco will deploy an enterprise-grade network and collaboration suite. This will connect the Foundation’s kitchens and offices by enabling end-to-end IT and process digitisation.  The upgraded network will connect Akshaya Patra’s offices in Bengaluru, Gurgaon and field kitchens across 7 locations on a single network, which will enable them to efficiently track their kitchen production, distribution, supply chain and logistics.
