The State Minister for Energy Shobha Karandlaje participated in a programme in which a vehicle was donated to the Akshaya Patra Foundation which obtains funds from the government and donors to run the mid-day meal scheme. K. Janardhana Bhat, a businessman, donated a vehicle to the foundation and handed over a cheque for Rs. 13 lakh to purchase two more.
