SBI Mutual Fund donated two meal delivery vans to Akshaya Patra's Lucknow unit on June 12, 2015. The vehicles were inaugurated by Anoop Srivastav, Assistant Vice President; and Amit Kumar, Regional Manager of SBI.
 
The meal delivery vans have been customised with the honeycomb structure which prevents food from spilling during transportation, and insulated to keep meals warm till delivery. 

The vehicles will transport food to 36 schools in the region and feed over 2,000 students.
